This is a simple-to-use hydrogen gas sensor, suitable for sensing hydrogen concentrations in the air. The MQ-8 can detect hydrogen gas concentrations anywhere from 100-10000ppm.
Suitable for hydrogen leak monitoring. Are not subject to ethanol vapor, soot, carbon monoxide and other gases interference.
Module Features:
1. With a DO switch signal (TTL) output and AO analog signal output;
2. TTL output valid signal is low.
3. The analog output voltage higher when the concentration is higher.
Electrical properties:
Input voltage: DC5V power (current): 150mA
DO output: TTL digital 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)
AO output :0.1-0 .3 V (relatively clean), the highest concentration of voltage around 4V
Note : This sensor has a high sensitivity and fast response time. The sensor’s output is an analog resistance. The drive circuit is very simple; all you need to do is power the heater coil with 5V, add a load resistance, and connect the output to an ADC.
